The University of Life - What's Your Major?

Do you have regrets, disappointments, surprises, ups and downs, laughter and sadness in life.

We could consider negative instances in our lives above everything, however, the fact still remains that we have....LIFE!

In raising my children , three of which are grown...I often look at some of my responses to my younger one.

I'm not as tense, overwhelmed and I don't allow myself to become anxious like I used to. Is it because I'm older or maybe because I don't have the energy to battle? Whatever the reason I've learned that it's a pure waist of energy and precious time to major on the minors. I'd rather major on building my son's esteem, pleasing my son by allowing him to have an extra cookie although I know it's not good for his teeth. Allow my husband to feel that he's right instead of battling to the end to prove that I am.

Don't take it personal when your co-workers don't include you in their holiday party. Ask yourself the question ..would I really have wanted to go if asked? Maybe they assumed that you wouldn't.....hmmmm....mmmm : )

Many times we can major so much on the minors that we neglect the major issues in our lives.

Take an inventory of what your major is in life. Just as we have our major subjects and minor subjects in college so it is in The University of Life. You can graduate with HONORS! It is up to you. Listen to this, your grade will be given by your family, friends and last but definitely not least Father God.

Major on a fulfilled relationship with Father God and your minors will be covered with the wisdom that Father God provides. What's your major?

And to those of you with little ones remember, they are only young once, catch them doing good! Those of you who are married, as I stated in another article Sh-hh- God may be trying to get something to you (WISDOM). Fine tune your ear to know when you should...be quiet : )

Unmarried ladies...major on your relationship with Father God and he'll cover you with His wisdom in relationships, parenting and more.

Everyone....learn to LISTEN more. God gave us two ears and one mouth....hmmmm....mmmm.
